Anne Chalmers is our resident acupuncturist and massage therapist Canberra.
Having studied in Brisbane, Queensland she has an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and a Diploma of Therapeutic Massage from ACAM.
She started working with chiropractors as a massage therapist in 1988 while she was completing her acupuncture studies.
Combining acupuncture and massage has allowed Anne to treat a wider variety of conditions than with either alone. These 90 minute sessions are very popular and highly recommended.
In 1997, during the final year of her Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture, she went to China to study for several months at the Kunming Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
While there she also learnt the art of Traditional Chinese Foot Reflexology Massage.
Anne is a member of:
Australian National Association of Chinese Herbalists and Acupuncturists,
Massage and Myotherapy Australia (AAMT), and
Is registered as an Acupuncturist with AHPRA Chinese Medical Board of Australia.
